After a day and a night in Hanoi we got up at four thirty in the morning to fly back to Dong Hoi, and then back home to Phong Nha.

Where's the food?

No rest for us, as it's our housewarming party, we've only been here two Months. Fortunately we have nothing to do as it's all been organised in our absence.

Nearly one hundred turned up during the evening, over four hundred beers were drunk!

Rat cave

Ruth leaves Vietnam on the fifth of July, but there is just time for her to join me on one last Tu Lan trip.

After the tour (the next day) Ruth was on a mid-day flight to HCMC and then flying direct to London (followed by a flight to Leeds/Bradford. Her time here is done, I'm here until sometime in September.
